The French manicure has been back – and beloved – for a while now. We’ve seen it chunky à la a ’90s suburbanite style on Zendaya, micro on Margot Robbie, and even totally personalised across a handful of celebrities.
This weekend, Kylie Jenner put her own – somewhat controversial – spin on the white-tipped trend while out in Los Angeles celebrating friend Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou’s birthday. But it isn’t her almond-shaped fingers we’re talking about, though that manicure was captured perfectly in a pre-party selfie. No, it was her matching pink-and-white pedicure that had us staring.
Jenner’s square-shaped French pedicure feels ripped from the spa chairs of a suburban nail salon. On the other hand – well, foot –with its bold white smile line (AKA the white part) and sharp-cornered shape, this does feel like one of the most low-maintenance pedicure options for summer. We’re torn – but willing to give it a try.
